I am a die-hard fan of this restaurant...! Love love love this Mediterranean/ middle eastern restaurant.
They serve the best breads and their garlic butter is just the yummiest tasting butter ever.

Things that we order are the mezze platter, the vegetarian and shrimp gallaba (the taste of which is always on point and same whenever you eat it) and their Greek salad..!
I have tried many middle eastern/ Mediterranean restaurants but 2Booli is by far the best of all...!

This is my go to food joint..! Love coming back to this food heaven..

Stopped in for a healthy lunch!! Soup and salad

Place is always clean and servers are genuinely nice.  I sat at the bar for fast service.

I ordered my salad minus tomatoes with Chicken for my protein and a cup of soup. Never asked if I wanted something other than water to drink.

Soup arrived first and perfect temperature it was a little salty than in the past. Very good a bit pricy for a cup of soup

Salad came next ... the dressing is very lite in taste more oily than flavorful and a lot on the lettuce (Romain was swimming) The bottom of the plate had a lot of dressing. I suggest to order dressing on the side. Disappointed in the fact that there was NO chicken on salad especially since my server asked me if I wanted to add on protein and she repeated my order!! What????

When brought to attention of staff walking past my server came back after awhile and said "oh I can grab your chicken?" I said no thank you I can't wait for the chicken to cook and she said "oh it's already cooked just sitting back there"

Gross I don't want chicken that's been cooked hours ago just sitting and drying out!!! Another suggestion ask for freshly cooked chicken

Overall it's okay the one thing I suggest is to have a soup and salad combo option.

This place gets bumped up to 3 stars because we kept getting refills of that warm, delicious pita bread.

I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich, which according to the menu, comes with rice pilaf, fries, or spicy coleslaw.  There is also an option to add falafel to your wrap for $0.49.  So I ordered my sandwich and asked to add the falafel.  The waitress asked if I wanted the falafel inside the sandwich or outside, so I said outside would be good.  When the meal comes, I get the sandwich and a plate of 6 falafel.  Since I was pretty sure they wouldn't be giving 6 for $0.49, I asked whether this was the $0.49 add on. She said no, if you get the falafel on the outside, you get the full appetizer (which is $8.99!)...this was a big turnoff to me because that was never specified when I ordered.  I also didn't get any rice with it, so I had to ask whether I was going to get it.  To her credit, she fixed the issue and ended up taking the falafel back, bringing me 2 on the side, and giving me the side of rice.  I ended up only getting charged the $0.49 to add falafel.

As for the food itself, it was overall mediocre at best.  The sandwich was okay - it was stuffed with chicken and pickles and tasted pretty good, especially with some garlic sauce, which I got on the side.  I do like the garlic sauce here, because it has the right balance of garlic, oil, and lemon.  It wasn't too strong.

The rice was really oily.  The falafel, which was seasoned very well and tasted delicious, was way over cooked and hard as a rock on the outside. The tahini sauce was bland and didn't have much sesame flavor at all

I think I may be spoiled from going to Mr. Kabob so much - I love the various (free) add-in options, the chargrilled chicken, and the rich, flavorful tahini sauce.

The meal wasn't bad, but with so many great dining options in Troy, it wouldn't be a top choice for me in the future.

I was at 16 and Dequindre which truly was close enough to try yet another TRW menu and restaurant.

In my opinion you certainly can tell a whole lot about the experience your going to receive   even based on the way your phone call is handled .

I called ahead as my 89 year old mother-in-law was with me,and asked Brain would he be able to due a carryout for mother?

    Certainly!
He replied, and said he would get Ashley to take my order, the gal was swift, kind and very polite, and said my order would be ready in 20 minutes.

Arriving 11 minutes later I went in to see the place and i was truly blown away, see I expected a little place like a qdoba/piada, instead it  was huge and far more elegant than I expected, the hostess welcomed me and directed me to the carryout counter.

Ashley see's me asks are you Ron with a carryout?
    Yes I am!
Would you like some bread and garlic dip
    Yes Please !

I asked how would I know ,which container contained each dish, Ashley said we labeled them for you.

So mother & I went home opened up 2 of the 3 containers
She had the grilled salmon , rice and grilled veggies
I had the blackened salmon, rice and grilled veggies, and I fetched my wife her new fave oregano chicken ,rice and grilled veggies

All three dishes were generous in portion size, veggies were grilled perfectly with a nice char.

I sampled a bite from each, the blackened salmon for $10 was the sure winner.

And when I opened bag # 2 it was loaded with fresh pitas and 3 containers of superior garlic dip

So thankful for restaurants that participate in Troy Restaurant Week and go above and beyond to show you some new items and unique ways that they each prepare them.

And leaves me with only one question.

Where oh where , or when will there be a
2Booli#2  in lets say Shelby Twp.?
